Course Overview

Building on the basics from our Baseline Rifle course, this advanced course teaches you additional concepts on rifle shooting and begins to introduce the student to other aspects of rifle engagements with real world application. Topics covered include performance based metrics used to understand and advance the student's ability to engage targets quickly and accurately, effective use of cover, shooting on the move, and more. Students will leave this course with a variety of drills and knowledge that they can continue to use in their own training to increase their performance. NOTE: This is not a beginner course and students should be well accustomed to shooting a rifle. If you are unsure if you to the level required contact us below! Topics Covered: -Safety -Performance Metrics -Aiming Schemes -Sight Confirmation Levels -Reactive vs. Predictive Shooting -Positional Shooting -Shooting from Cover -Movement -Rifle to Pistol Transitions Equipment Needed: -Rifle with sling (zeroed) -Pistol -400 rounds of rifle ammunition -100 rounds pistol ammunition -3 Rifle magazines (minimum) -2 Pistol magazines(minimum) -Belt/Chest Rig/Plate Carrier -Eye & Ear Protection NOTE: Minimum 4 students to hold the course.
