Course Overview
This course is a comprehensive Wear and Carry renewal course for students with a current Maryland Wear and Carry permit. In compliance with state regulations, this course must be completed every 3 years to maintain your permit status. Our program is designed to meet and exceed all the necessary requirements for the permit renewal process, ensuring you are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to continue exercising your right to self-defense. Topics Covered: - Safety - Fundamentals - MD Firearms law - Use of deadly force - Qualification Equipment Needed: - Handgun with at least 2 magazines - 300 rounds of ammunition - Outside-the-waistband (OWB) or Inside-the-waistband (IWB) holster for the -handgun - Spare magazine holster/pouch - Belt capable of holding the holstered gun and spare magazine pouches - Eye & ear protection - Clothing for weather plus inclement weather gear (class is run rain or shine) NOTE: Minimum 5 students to hold the course.
